It sickens me that one Yak reads one guy's book and you're all all about Atkins (and yes, that's what it is, although it's Taubes.) I mean, getting healthy is good and all.....but a "low carb" peanut butter and jelly and whipped cream sandwich is kinda missing the point.

Also, if you must know, my mom had been trying to get us to do 'atkins' or low carb for about 7 years. I decided to do it for myself after yak was stating how much more energetic he felt and I thought it wouldn't hurt to do so because working nights like I do drains all my energy and I feel like going to sleep all the time at work and I literally drink an energy drink every night just to 'perk' up a bit

Too much cholesterol....too much calcium, all kinds of shit. I think you're all waying too much into Taube's book. I mean, I believe it, but eat some fucking vegetables.....don't say 'my peanut butter and jelly and whipped cream sandwich is low carb'
