That's Treacher Collins syndrome. There was a special on BBC a while ago about Jono Lancaster who's parents gave him up for adoption because of his facial deformity. It was really heartbreaking when I attempted to contact his birth parents--simply to get to know them--and they rejected him. He recently married his girlfriend if I remember correctly (pretty blonde girl with nice curves).

Here he goes: http://jonolancaster.com/about-jono

This guy works out like a maniac to "make up" for his deformity, too.

His girlfriend must be blind, and apparently he has a face that not even his mother could love.

I know this place is often worse than 4chan, but you're a serious dickhead. This guy has gone through more shit in his life than most people can even imagine.

He found someone who loves him for who his is, not what he looks like.

I'm butt frustrated because you have no idea what it's like to go through life like that guy. I honestly pisses me off when people make fun of those who have some sort of deformity or other issues beyond their control.

I know this is the wrong place to talk about "empathy" but you should try it some time.

I prefer apathy. Suits me much better. If you want empathy go cry to someone on FaceBook or join a support group

although, mucho has an alternative to fagbook, its mucho chat. get all the support and empathy you need from the chatfags

Sinestro, that treacher collins sufferer on the documentary has an incredibly hot girlfriend, one that even considers having his treacher collins kids. Thats when empathy turns to pity.

Thats also where I stop empathising.

Also, my initial post should have read " when HE attempted to contact his birth parents". I was born with craniosynostosis, so I can identify with cases like Jono Lancaster very easily.

Well that makes sense as why it riled you up so bad, I've seen the special on Jono, it is very sad, but inspiring too :)

I've met him, in Sheffield as he's a friend of a friend. I didn't talk to him for long 'cause his face was ruining my buzz.
