In some states it is an offense to blocking up that lane, yet they still keep the artificially low speed limit so it's pretty stupid. The left lane then becomes illegal to drive in under normal circumstances.
Pennsylvania's law states that you are not alloud to drive in the fast lane other then to pass. They could have given that person a ticket for that had they been in Pa..
Even in Germany he would have been pulled over maybe. As in Pa you are only allowed to use the fast lane to speed up and leave another vehicle behind. If you drive faster than posted in order to do so, you'll get a ticket as well. So basically, there's no way to do it right ;)
I just relieased it was a new jersey state trooper. i live in new jersey, the state troopers should do that all the time maybe the drivers will not be in my way anymore when im in the fast lane :)
