Taurus 'Raging Judge' revolver fires 28-gauge shotgun shells

If you are a shotgun lover than this post is for you. Brazilian armsmaker Taurus’ “Raging Judge” is not only a real gun but it’s a real functional revolver that fires 28-gauge shotgun shells.

guns like that are like lamborghinis, they suck at what theyre supposed to do and youre an asshole for wasting your excess income on one

Guns are supposed to fire a projectile at high velocity. I think most of them do a pretty good job of it.

guns are supposed to kill people, good luck going to war with that pos

I could be mistaken, but this doesn't quite have the tactical feel of most modern weapons that are used on the battlefield. I'm gonna say that the manufacturer of this weapon made it strictly for the novelty of having a revolver that shoots shotgun shells. If you can't come to this conclusion on your own then you must be as retarded as your above statements lead me to believe.

It's for home protection.

Shotgun shells are preferred for home defense due to high stopping power and low penetration (I'd insert a joke about a member here, but can't choose who). If you hit someone with a shot they will most likely go down, but if you miss them the shot most likely won't go through the wall and kill your wife, or baby, or favorite bong, whatever is important to you.

exactly, its a novelty, guns arent meant to be novelties

youre all fucking morons but i guess i am too for arguing with a bunch of cock smuggling ass spelunkers who drool over an obscene excuse for a firearm

Taurus makes shitty guns.

My friend Dwight had a derringer that shot either a .45 bullet or a 20 gauge shotgun shell. It's what he used to kill himself. It was a really nice pocket gun.

.... sure sure, and i have a bridge to sell you.

it shot a 45 colt and a .410 shot shell...a 20 gauge would be nearly impossible to operate in a derringer and still have fingers left afterwards...

I stand corrected, I was in a rush when I posted. It was a .410 shotgun shell.

I don't understand how you can use this as a revolver. The end of a shotgun shell sticks out after you fire it. How does this get around that? Specialty shells?
Oh I see, the ends of these shells don't extend out, it's just capped with paper or something. Bottom center of the photo. Still looks easy to jam though.

the cylnder is longer than the fired shell... I bet a 28Ga slug would be awesome!! That would make it a 14MM or a .55cal slug!

This actually shoots .454 or .45colt long or .410

Sounds about right to me, I had a Ruger SA Vaquero chambered for 45 long colt, twas one of my favorites..
