thats what im wondering... its obviously a viral video for that stupid site
6 years ago
the 2nd to last one has people in the background and seems legit..
would be kind of dick-headish to speed up the 600bmp
6 years ago
http://www.guinnessworldrecords.com/Search/Details/Fastestguitar-player/59283.htm
and real
guinness world records used to be really strict... so unless something has changed over the years they would have had to have an expert there and such monitoring everything with their own equipment as well to verify
6 years ago
not exactly sure how the worlds fastest guitar player is not mucho worthy...
Guess all the kids are into the techno music.
Is that "Flight of the Bumblebee"?
if you read about 3 inches down you can see my other post :P
6 years ago
yea... it went something like this. click post. read for two more seconds. facepalm.
searches for World's Fattest Bassist now...

.wait...
Search no longer Possum, for I AM the worlds fattest bassist :D
6 years ago
The fastest guitar player is Tiago Alberto de Quadros (Brazil), a.k.a Tiago Della Vega, who successfully played 'Flight of the Bumblebee' by Nikolai Rimsky Korsakov at 320 BPM without error at EM&T, Sao Paulo, Brazil on 7 May 2008.

600 BPM equals (if my horrible math is correct) a physically impossible 10 notes per second. Easy enough to photo edit the clock. This is bunk.

are you really a negro?
cause you sound more like OJ
being that its on guinness's website currently........... in the link i posted.......
i'll believe an official site over someone that is edited by idiots
6 years ago
fuck me
imean...oh hell
Yak, I followed your link but it didn't say anything about this dude.
hmmmm
weird....
it *DID* say the guys name and where and such.... i wonder if it was just that faggot site trying to exploit something on guinnesses website to fake it...
http://www.guinnessworldrecords.com/records-3000/fastest-guitar-player/
there you go... looks like their page was being redesigned..
The fastest guitar player is John 'Dr Hot Licks' Taylor (USA) who played "The Flight Of The Bumblebee" without error at 600 BPM at The Guitar Centre, in Westminster, Colorado, USA on 24 Apr 2011.
I stand corrected.
yea.... i thought it was fake too.... the way he moves at 600bpm almost makes it look like that...
i can fap faster than that
I'm sorry, there is no WAY he played every note 600 BPM. It's a good rendition, but it's not every note played. Look that up on the piano version vids and you will see how many notes there are in that song. The 250 was legit, and maybe one after that, but the 600, while impressive no doubt, was not close to every note.
i guess he never got the guinnness world re...... oh wait he did.. :P
6 years ago
If they do a slo mo of it showing every note hit, then I will believe it, not until then. Trust me, Guiness is not infallable. And we could hear each note a lot better if he took the fuzz off.
fast he may be, but it sounds like shit.
that fact does kinda make this pointless
i dont think that there is a world record for best rendition of flight of the bumblebee....
the fact that its a speed record means that all the notes have to be hit, which i suspect they are since hes now the guinness world record holder
im sure you could look up the specific requirements if you really cared
6 years ago
Sounded like shit, but looked hilarious! Benny Hill style.
I bet he's a high school music teacher.
is that your fantasy?
Damn, if my hand moved that fast I would spontaneously combust from jerking off.
This is real...Watch the second hand on the clock...

hey thanks possum...i really missed this site, would ck back periodically and was pleasantly surprised to see it back.
an email was sent out to everyone, but about 80% of the emails bounced back saying that it was 'spam' because most mail servers have never seen that much mail traffic from us over that period of time apparently...
well the new site looks great. kudos
i was already here..but it was in my spam folder
6 years ago
Ok he's fast, but about as enjoyable to listen to as having my nuts stapled to my forehead.
So you liked it then?
uh-oh
this is purely about speed, not sound quality.Flight of the bumblebee is not all that enjoyable to listen to in the first place..thats why its always in cartoons.
No guitar video until I reach 600 bpm.

I used to listen to Tony MacAlpine, and TNT. I was a Racer X fan, as well. 8P
