Nothing wrong with it just another animal for us to eat.. people in India quite happily eat rats.. and worship cows and we kill cows with bolt guns and teenagers cook them up for the masses so its all good as it all gets flushed eventually.

i think he mentions cat recipes at one point, but i also remember that scene from the intro where he just grabs Lucky and tries to put him in his mouth as is...
depends on what the meat tastes like, id probably eat it
6 years ago
huh? why would people in india eat rats?
ive seen videos where there are temples full of rats there basically dedicated to them... and they feed them and treat them like they are basically royal pets
or maybe im thinking of malaysia...
either or
if i were somewhere that they had cats i would likely try cat...
as long as it were cooked...
im not a fan of trying new food like that if its not cooked... like fresh monkey brain i wouldnt do unless it were cooked.... although ive never eaten brain before.. so not sure monkey would be the best 'step' :P

Our society is so fucked up. Back in the day people would eat horses, cows, any form of meat to survive. Now since we've domesticated these animals and keep them as pets we feel we're better than other societies that just wanna eat?

ps....I read none of the comments

cat i bet would taste a lot like a chicken/pork hybrid... i think thats what a lot of animals about that size taste like from watching various shows where they try different foods

The only reason I eat cow instead of cat is there's more meat on a cow. Otherwise I would eat cat. Or at least try it if I already haven't, with all the Chinese Buffets that I frequently go too.

Combo number two?

the meat is whatever they caught the night before in the live trap out back by the dumpster

When I was there, there was something called, 'Balut"(I think that's how it's spelled) which is an almost fully formed duck embryo in its egg. I wanted to try it but the feathers...idk, that was more off-putting than the duck itself.
No feathers on a baby duck but its basically ready to hatch so its alive and basically fully formed a true delight.
No, I saw feathers. That was a deal-breaker.
if you say so but they shouldn't have feathers for about 2 weeks at least.. I lived on a farm as a young conky and seen many baby ducks there usually just fluffy and weird colors even chickens are just covered in fluff.. maybe birds in the Phillippians are different i heard the worst part about it was the crunch of there little bones as you chew them up..
where you from, old conky?
Balut is one of the few things here that I won't eat. It is exactly as nasty as Ivan describes it. I also won't eat the jellied chicken blood on a stick. I have eaten chicken feet, chicken intestines, and grilled chicken ass. I've had goat stew and a local dish that is made out of pig snout, cheek, knuckles, and liver.

And there seem to be waaayyyy to many puppy vendors here.
Or too many, if you want to be picky.

So I googled and conky; you're right, no feathers. It must have been the wing tips or something...? If you dare:

Hold on, I found a pic that describes my fear. The black stuff, only there was more of it. Is that not feathers?
