rap actually used to be good... either fun for fun's sake or with some bigger message. today's is just pure crap about busting caps in yo ass and shaking booties. i miss old rap :( yak and i reminisced about digital underground just a bit ago... he hadn't heard the humpty dance!

it's weird too... these guys speak perfect english... when did english devolve and become the "norm"?

Digital Underground rocks. Bay Areaaaaaa.

The humpty daaaaaaaaance is yo chaaaaaaance to do the hump.

There is still plenty of good rap out there. Even the bustin a cap in yo ass rap can be good too. Music is music, its usually considered good by someone.

There is someone who never heard The Humpty Dance?

I never say lol, ...but LOL!

Old School was the best

now we're talking. Boogie Down Bronx is probably the best of the era

Same Song is the track Yak is thinking of. A young 2pac had a few bars on the song since he was here in The Bay and rollin' with the Underground as a roadie at the time.

Isn't this considered hip-hop, though?

Rap is just music that the people that haven't the talent to sing can participate in too. It's barely deserves to be called a separate genre. Just music for dumber/less talented people.

I like girls making boom boom. I once became freaky in an ARBY'S restroom1 I rammed a packet of horsey sauce, up my gaping butthole! ... I Get Freaky!
