Ummm...Cray BSD systems were that price. The disk wasn't so bad. I worked on the two GM had in the 90's.

I had some magnets out of the big old hard drives. The rare earth kind, only they were 1.5" square instead of 1/4". I don't have any intact ones now since if I left them within 2 feet of each other they'd crash together and split apart.
