Jet wash? Mythbusters total did that one already. Through a bus like a 50 foot trainable.

Someone tested it way before mythbusters.

Why would there be jetwash? The engines are in full reverse
8 years ago
Full reverse?? Its not a fucking submarine. Anyway, I couldn't care less about this video; as stated below its old and proven. I just wanted to make a mythbusters and drawn together reference. Mission accomplished. :p

Uh...full reverse before touchdown??
They don't reverse engines until after touchdown but the throttle will be at a very low percentage if not zero, resulting in no jet wash and minimal air turbulence around the planes approach path.
There is everyone happy about the jet wash argument now??
no... I still really like the FULL REVERSE theory. It sounds like more fun.

A Problem - no one was holding/plugging their ears. I used to have to run near Lindbergh Field (SAN) when I was in the service and stationed at MCRD in San Diego. Even 737s landing made you block your ears they were so loud. And my platoon was permitted to do so on most occasions - except inspections and stuff like that. But man that looks real as heck.

and there is no "reverse" it just vents the exaust out of the sides causing no forward thrust.

Real.

I agree, if you watch the water as the engines pass by you can see the jet wash. Crazy shit tho, suprised he did crush a car roof.

Yes, it is real! That's at St Maarten island in the Carribbean. I've been there personally & experienced it. That 747 was a little lower than most, just clearing the fence to the runway. It's crazy fun to stand on the beach or the roadway when a Jumbo jet comes in!

It is real, but I say fake.
I agree, but don't.
Maybe its really fake no, this is an oldie but goodie. People line up for this weekly event.

I'd like to go there before some douchebag on a ladder gets killed or throws a basketball into an engine and they close that runway.
