i have such a hard time imagining a place more desolate and windblown than the dakotas in february...then i hear from folks like sloan, and count my blessings
i was in montreal once when i was a kid..i was trying to buy a battlestar gallactica oldschool toy...the lady never spoke english and treated me so badly my mother came over and freaked
i had to stay overnight in winnipeg once..i was in a pretty good mood because the car service ran out of cars and had to pick us up in a stretch limo..plus my room service was covered
fuck i had to stay overnite there once too..edmonton is a dump..i was joking around with dik jr. on the plane before we landed.."good thing we're not stopping in edmonton"..trying to piss off the edmontonians or whatever the fuck they call themselves
If you look at the UK on a globe, you'll see that it's quite a way up north. I find it amazing that it's kept warmer than it should be just by the slightly warmer waters of the Gulf Stream. If that was to stop or change course we'd have to put up with almost Arctic conditions here.
Reply to Yak and Deja's question-
I used to live right across the street from Stan's place, never had to worry about parking during the Ex,had a bar and a Mac's within 100 yards of my front door. Then I moved to this shithole North Battleford so the wife could be closer to her family *facepalm*.

Save two tiny bumps,
Where a bee left a sting...
And no, they didn't smarten up.
