There's always one slut in the bunch.
I'm pretty sure there are at least 100 in that bunch. She just openly shows it.
If I was not an atheist I would say thank god for sluts
9 years ago
I am atheist, but i'll still say it. Thank god for sluts.

"Spot who got a first in stripping"
What does that mean?
I think that's the crazy British English.
Degrees are graded as (in decending order):
1st
2:1
2:2
3rd

She got a 1st in stripping. Ergo, she is very good at being a whore. Get it?
Okay, now explain 2:1, 2:2. Is there a 1:2 or a 2:3? Just wondering.
haha good one oranje. fatpat you dumb fuckin shitbag.
No, Oranjeboom's right. It's a weird system.
Its a very simple fucking system

1st = First, top fucking job.
2:1 = Upper second
2:2 = Lower second
3rd = Third class degree
Never heard of it. Strange.
Irish got a 2nd degree felony. That's pretty good, isn't it?
Here's a question, why have upper and lower 2nd, instead of just having 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th class degrees?
Probably because they are vain and think that going down to 4th is simply too low, so they try to make the other grades sound technical and clever.
The way I heard it, Irish got a first in felony
9 years ago
A lower second is a drinkers degree.
I got a 2nd degree burn one time.
that is a stupid fucking system, but then again, we skip from d to f
9 years ago
How is that a dumb system, you fucking retards?

First
Upper second
Lower second
Third

Couldn't be any simpler for you retards.

Are you dense, Oranje, or did you not read my comment? It's stupid, because you have four degrees, but instead of calling them 1,2,3,4 you call them 1,2a,2b,3. That is fucking dumb and pointless bullshit. Try not to let your familiarity with the system prejudice you.

Fwiw, the Japanese do the same thing with their Eiken English test. They have -

Level 1
Pre-Level 1
Level 2
Pre-Level 2
Level 3
Level 4
Level 5

I've asked people many times "Why not just have 7 levels?", but, predictably, have yet to receive a satisfactory answer.
I still think it's a vanity issue, or possibly psychological. If you don't quite make the top grade, you can still have a level 1 or 2 without getting the depressing idea that you've just dropped a grade.
Sure, they should just make it:

1st upper elite
1st intermediate upper elite
1st lower upper elite
1st upper elite primary
1st upper elite basic
1st upper basic elite
etc...
I'm not being silly about it Hank. Average students who just want anything better than an F, don't really care about grades, but there have been a good number of students who are expected to or, pressured to do well who have gone suicidal over not attaining the required level. This stepped method allows them to be rewarded for doing well while at the same time it stil allows for the true top percentiles to get the top grades.
"I still think it's a vanity issue, or possibly psychological. If you don't quite make the top grade, you can still have a level 1 or 2 without getting the depressing idea that you've just dropped a grade."

That is just ridiculous. You have to remember that everything is relative to what people understand. When you know the grades are in the order as 1st, 2:1, 2:2 & 3rd, you think of them as being in descending order and you want the best you can achieve. The idea of 2:2 not being 3rd & a 3rd not being a 4th, having some benefit psychologically is just such a stupid concept.

Only 10% of people get a 1st so I never expected one because I simply don't try that hard. I like to go out and have fun. If however I dropped to a 2:2, I would have thought 'bollocks, I just dropped a grade'. I would not have thought 'Oh, it still starts with 2 so Ill just class it as a 2nd still'.

A,B,C,D
1,2,3,4
1st, 2:1, 2:2, 3rd

What does it matter if each grade has the same relative % grade mark?
Besides, some jobs I have seen specifically say 2:1 minimum. So your points are blown out of the water.
So, if each grade still has the same percentage, why go to the bother of splitting grades? There is no other logical reason to do it. Why not split all the grades, or, like Hank said, have several levels of one?
I never thought you were being silly about it, Fugs, but I think it is very silly, so I am lampooning it.

I think Fugs is making a lot more sense than you, Orange. It's a reasonable explanation, and your bit about what difference does it make is just silly. If there are 4 grades, then why do it 1,2:1,2:2,3? What would be the purpose of that? It seems ridiculous to me. 1,2,3,4 is how numbers usually go, isn't it?

Anyways, I have these amps that go to 11. They are 1 louder than 10.

Oranjeboom says:
Besides, some jobs I have seen specifically say 2:1 minimum. So your points are blown out of the water.

What points would that blow out? If there were four grades, they would just say 2 minimum. Same difference.
Unless it's part of some antiquated system that the old duffers at the top just don't want to let go. As is the norm in the ranks of officialdom in this country.
I'm gonna make a new grading system for my high school classes, 7 equally weighted grades:

7.a, *, ALX, すぁぁ, Pi, #2iii, H>O
I'd hate to try and explain to my parents what the hell the fourth grade was...
How does the degree grading system work in the US then Hank?
They use the Fahrenheit scale.

Har har har har!
Sorry!
Wiki it.

Oranje--it's A, B, C, D--all with plus or minuses, or F for fail. in college it switches to a grade point average--0-4.0 gpa. which is still fucking stupid. personally, i just prefer gold stars and pats on the back
9 years ago
cum laude
magna cum laude
summa cum laude

Is that right? If so, our system is infinitely better.
oh wait, you mean grading systems or grade levels? i give up
9 years ago
I was thinking Associates Degree, Bachelors Degree, Masters Degree.

Anyways, Oranje, it's pretty to weak to start criticizing another system to try to make yours look better. The subject was England's system, not America's. Let's assume that America's, or any other country's system, is somehow worse. That doesn't change the point of the discussion one iota. It is still silly to break 2 into 2a and 2b, instead of just going 1-4.

Yet another Japanese reference, very often when I point out some small racist aspect of Japan, like for example, racial discrimination not being illegal, people here will say, "But, but, there's lots of racism in America, too!" As if this somehow negates their own.

Actually, you are reminding me of the Average Japanese very much here, Oranje. Almost all Japanese, when their country is criticized in some way by a foreigner, will unthinkingly, automatically try to to defend it or explain it away, no matter how bad the point is. Instead of just acknowledging the bad point.

As I said much earlier, don't let your familiarity with the system prejudice you.

I'm graduating this coming June. I know I'm gonna trip over that silly gown or some shit and break my nose.
What do you plan to do after high school?
Something easy?

Like teaching English to gooks?
hahaha...Hank ya gonna take that
More like, join the military and take orders for a living? Which I can guarantee requires much less mental effort than what I do.

Hank, I'm graduating from a four year university with a degree in Computer Science and a minor in Business Administration. My goal is to become an independent game developer, but I'll probably have to get a job at a regular game company before I can make it happen.
Good luck. Job situation has been worsening every year in the U.S. for how long now?
lmao @ Hank

"More like, join the military and take orders for a living? Which I can guarantee requires much less mental effort than what I do."

I think you'll find an army officer is the one with the responsibility, the one giving the orders.

When you were in the Navy you weren't an officer so your experience is redundant.
Everyone is responsible to someone else in the military. Doesn't sound like you know what you are talking about. Are you in the army now? If not then you have no experience to base to base your opinion on. Even officers are just fucking cogs. They are part of a huge system which supports them. It's a very different thing to have to survive in the real world.
Of course officers have superiors too, the difference lies with the officers being given certain responsibilities. It is then up to them to go about planning and implementing any actions to achieve what is required over any given period. It is by no means a 'you must do this, like this' scenario.
Everybody has responsibilities, as well, even the enlisted. Many officers are just clueless noobs that just do what experienced enlisted men tell them is best to do. As I said before, you're not actually in the military yet, so you don't really know what you are talking about.
i think emperorrs life plan is pretty funny..haha

Hank, understood.
when i grow up i want to be a rock star and play for the red wings
9 years ago
*I understand what you're saying.

'Hank, understood.' isn't exactly clear.
My goal is to become an astronaut, but I guess I'll just keep bagging groceries at the supermarket until NASA starts returning my calls.
Also, "redundant" experience? I don't mean to pick, but I don't think that word really applies here. Maybe irrelevant would be a better word in this case.

^ Damn English teachers, with their correct use of the language 'n shit!
when i was a teenager i was sent home from school for wearing a button that said "fuck the teachers"
the next day i wore it again
^ Im sure that continued for a while too, huh dik.
When I was a teenager, I just skipped school. Didn't need a button, or anything.
about a week until the vice-principal Mr. Dever decided that i needed a much longer break
9 years ago
i have lots of funny high school stories...i was such a dick
9 years ago
^ Rebel without a clearly stated objective.
If I was Mr. Dever, I would have popped your ketchup packet on the cement.
While I believe your point has merit, it is clear to me that you are a weak crossdressing homosexual. Furthermore it is common knowledge that you are adopted and your biological mother has sexual intercourse with animals.
Morgan J. Dever..ex-cop..fuck me i hated him and he most certainly hated me..i could never figure that out because it's pretty clear i'm lovable as fuck
9 years ago
Well, sir, if I were to expound upon your numerous, pathetic, and disgusting character flaws, I would first note your bizarre addiction to sex with AIDS ridden prostitutes, including your biological mother. The fact that she gave you AIDS and confiscated your virginity when you were a mere three years old makes it all the more tragic and repugnant. And, yes, while it is true I too had sexual relations with your mother, I only used a baseball bat and therefore have very healthy sperm which I shall surely share with your younger sibling once I have addicted her to crack cocaine.
In case it was unclear, let me just reiterate that I am stronger than you.
It is laughable to suggest you are stronger than me when it is obvious my city of origin is much more violent and impoverished than yours.
Thanks dik, it's obvious you know a lot about programming, the game industry, and how game programmers have starting salaries of 60k a year or more.

Hank, I know man, it's getting rougher and rougher out there. Luckily, game companies always seem to be posting job offerings, so there's hope.

But my real dream is to do the independent thing, mainly because I'll have complete creative control. Granted, it won't be easy to make money at, but I've run my own (online) business before and have become fairly decent at making things online successful.
Go for it dude. Working for yourself doing what you like is the way to go.
i read "thanks dik" and stopped.
your welcome you blabbermouthed buttsucking semen gobbling retard
