The House of TOMORROW!

The year is 1997, and this is how your house might look if you are still alive after the third world war, at least according to Tex Avery. Its almost scary how close they were to how it really is!

Speedy Gonzales was racist, and funny; My all time favorite was The Pink Panther

i wonder why?

It's a guess, but I think some of the original artists and the crews who worked on these cartoons inserted personal issues into the cartoons...

As cool as this classic was, it's odd how simple the predictions were, considering they didn't include computers, internet, wireless electronics (although I've seen later cartoons that predicted wireless gadgets), plus this one forgot the flying cars...

I meant predicting flying cars that never happened (yet)

I feel old as hell, I remember watching that cartoon on TV after school. What was the deal with the mother in law.

Nobody liked that meddling mother in law, she was a moocher.

I remember seeing this when I was a kid. At least part of it before I finished my bucket of lard and had to eat the tv to keep from starving.

I used to live in America but my bulk was blocking the transcontinental railway lines. Now I live in a cave in an undisclosed part of the world trying to spread the good word.

Thanks for this post, yak, you're a man of refined taste. One of Avery's best, IMHO, was What's Buzzin' Buzzard. Note my nick....
