I saw a documentary with this phelps guy and his church-morons a few years back and what struck me was that he is actually right. The message that he propogates, hatred of gays, muslims and everyone and anyone who doesn't follow the christian faith, is exactly what the bible is proposing. Basically, anyone who doesn't follow the bible by the book is not a true christian. So he tries to get people to react by using these big signs with statements that he knows will enrage people to get their attention. Personally, I think all religions are bulshit and just a creation for control and a way to shift blame somewhere else. But, he's got a point. Why follow a path if you aren't really following it at all?
