Gore is a dumbass. The people who believe his shit are even dumber. He's not even a scientist for christ's sake!

he's a love scientist

yep he sure knows how to sell books, movies etc...

Shit, I'd jump on the global warming bandwagon too, if it made me rich.

The VagofLucifer is trying to act intelligent again. When will society learn that nature has it right?
We should eat our retarded young at birth.

Never take a science lesson from a politician.

isn't this backwards? i thought global warming melted polar ice hence rising the levels of the ocean which wold mean we would only see maybe the top of the cable supports

Read some of the other comments, this has already been stated, but thanks for playing

I thought it was supposed to be the other way around. Like flooding due to the melting of the icecaps
10 years ago
Actually it's whatever makes people panic, go out and buy more "green" consumer goods and prey to Al Gore while he flys around in his private jet and lives in his 20,000 square foot mansion.
It was supposed to be an ice age. It was predicted in 1899, but uhhh... Al Gore is stupid.

I find it odd that this fad has become a religion of its own, with it's own zealots, wackos, and militant insurgents (sending hate mail and death threats to legitimate scientists whose opinions differ from the info we're being fed), yet those who are adverse to traditional religion are some of the most vocal advocates of this asinine bullshit.
This is muchosucko, no one will know what your talking about.
But it is Rush Limbaugh, Neil Boortz, and Sean Hennity that are the most vocal against it.
Climate change is natural regardless of the presence of humans or lack thereof, someone has just been smart enough to panic the general public in a way that greatly benefits their bank account, and I wasnt replying to your comment, so shut the fuck up.
I know you weren't. I have never believed in the hype of global warming and can not wait for the day, that this hoax is unmasked and every twit in america sees how stupid they are.
There are natural climate changes on this rock that has been happening millions of years before man . I agree. But to say that humans have not had any part in changes to this planet would be wrong. The lakes , rivers ,oceans air would be a lot more pure . You can not argue this . The more humans being do increase many prolems . So what do we do ? Going back to Darwin (only the strong will survive) O well

In meantime party like hell !

Danggonit, I hope some of it comes true. I've already bought up property along the new projected coastline.

this shit is real and it really is happening.....miles and miles of wat used to be polar ice caps and glaciers have completly disappierd and water levels have risen cpl inches everywhere, by 2025 most of florida, parts of cali, and some areas around the east coast, cape code boston places in rhode island and shit are goin to b underwater!pretty much any place below sea level will b coverd in water even places that are WAY inland, will be coverd do to water that will follow vallies and rivers inland!
And if we pay more taxes, that will definitely fix everything.
was it the movie " the day after tommorrow" where everything flooded and then froze over? well sumthing like that is gonna happen where the north and south pole switch positions and shift everything around.....we are pass do for another ice age by like 300,000 yrs or suthing like that, so its coming soon!!
We're past due by 300,000 years? Do you know how long ago the last ice age was? Damn...
shadowfalcon do you know what happens when the ice caps melt?
it creates more water, do you know what water does? it reflects sunlight, do you know what that means? overall cooling of the globe, which means re creation of the icecaps....
and please don't ever fucking talk about the day after tomorrow when it comes to the environment, because it was so fake it was retarded...
we are on the trend for another iceage in a few hundred thousand years, see the word "trend", its how the worlds cycle works... us as humans aren't doing shit to speed it up, the world has tons of safety mechanisms in place to keep shit in check, via the jungle, the polar icecaps, the oceans, the deserts (and creation of more deserts)...
explain how our polar icecaps are going to 'switch positions' exactly?
don't be stupid and fall into all this money making propaganda that politicians and companies are spewing about becoming environmentally friendly, all they want to do is to get you to buy new "green" things that force you to buy things in order to be a "good person" and "help the environment", if you don't you are a bad person... do you recycle? if so you are a moron... recycling almost ALL items costs more energy then to not recycle, AND landfills create new land which help coastal cities actually grow. there are people out there that want to make money off of peoples lack of knowledge about how huge of a scale of time the world has, you see all these studies about how the average temperature is rising x degrees bla bla, well those studies are done on such a short scale its pointless... the world goes through fluctuations, having a 10 year or 20 year period (which is what most of these people are even referring to) means nothing, when you look at the planet over the last few hundred years, or few thousand years, thats where you START getting any clue of whats going on, and to REALLY understand you have to go back tens of thousands hundreds of thousands and millions of years to see the true cycles....
sweet jesus you better hope that deja does not read this thread, she will go fucking bonkers.

Shadow, what yak said is correct. Where did you get the 300,000 years from? We're only about 10,000 years out of the last "ice-age", (technically, because there are polar ice caps, we're still in the ice-age) so the planet is almost guaranteed to get warmer for a good few years yet. The impact of man on 'global warming' is like heating a football stadium with a candle.
it can't be much worse than what you just wrote, yak..
dik, should i read this?

let me sum it up, use common sense and pay attention in science class.

Well I heard that the filament bulb is going to be banned by 2012 due to this. Halogen is going to be pretty much the way to go. Not that it really proves anything, I just thought it was interesting...
the good thing about the halogen bulb is it lasts longer then the completely shit filament bulbs that they manufacture now, back when they were invented, they lasted forever basically... i mean there are still filament bulbs that were made back then that STILL are working today...
halogen is good because its energy efficient and they are bright and white light which is good...
Yak , to recycle is a good thing . I save all my beer cans ,sell them ,get cash and then go buy more beer .
Compact fluorescents are taking over from filament bulbs here in the UK. They're ok but take a while to light up from cold. Good thing is, the power company keep sending packs of CFLs for free.
Because of what Yak just said I think I'm gonna go buy some styrofoam and burn it in my oven because it won't hurt the environment. Also, i hear breathing toxic fumes and trudging through 10 feet of trash on my way to work is good for me. You don't have to beleive in global warming to see that polution is a bad thing.
yup wowbreak, and while you are at it you can shoot yourself in the face with a gun, because if you can't see the difference between your statements and mine you don't really deserve to live.
how did life even start? , from the begining earth was just water and rocks. I readed that life started in the ocean but how? Like how can water turn into life ? Like the first lifeform they said was the cell but how can a cell just pop up! from nowhere? With other words if i take water (pure water) and all the basic compounds like sulphur and mix them in a bathtube and mix it and wait 50billions year there would had evolved life in there?
"complex biochemistry that makes up life came from simpler chemical reactions, but it is unclear how this occurred" wikipedia
10 years ago
Because God created man.
You have to define what makes something "alive" before you can answer that.
they are defination for life in biology science...cant remember them but i think one of them where to reproduce.

What the fuck would a boat do there? Did it patiently wait by the bridge as water level slowly diminished over an eternity? Or was it just about to pass under the bridge when all the water suddenly vanished? Or did someone just build a boat after all the water was gone just so people would wonder what the fuck it's doing there?
maybe jesus did it, he's weird that way
or noah
Have you found Jesus?
I did he is right next to the reply button shit for brains.
you dumb idiot, it's a new thread, i wasn't replying to anyone... FAAAAIIILLLL
10 years ago
Oh yeah right...you weren't responding to supergiant's comment above. Suuuuuure you weren't sack squeezer.
didn´t gore predict there will be much more water all over the place? not less? strange...
The built this bridge and put the boat there in anticipation of there being more water all over the place. That's called 'thinking ahead'.

Gore was down here in Oz recently peddling his climate-panic bullshit. From what I saw of him, the guy's thicker than two short planks.

Course he is, he's American.
