Parasite Inside Praying Mantis

The nematomorph hairworm Spinochordodes tellinii is a parasitic worm whose larvae develop inside this Praying Mantis. The parasite is able to influence its host's behavior: once the parasite is grown, it causes it's host to jump into water, where the Praying Mantis will likely drown. The parasite then leaves its host; the adult worm lives and reproduces in water.

At least it's a gif, too many pics. But the pics are easy to vote and move on, don't have to hit play.
