RR on the far left?
Randy Castillo (drummer) and Zach Wylde (guitars, man)

Ozzy outlived Castillo and RR, hard to believe.

You would have thought he would have had the life expectancy of a house fly with all the drugs and booze.

I think that might be Geezer Butler just off cam to Ozzy's left.
Geezer wasnt around during these years, the old members and Ozzy fell out due to Ozzy's reckless behaviour

You tell'em Cheech!

I, as an old timer have to say that I prefer Black Sabbath well over what Ozzy did by himself.
I agree with that statement... but for someone to say Ozzy's solo work is piss is just, well, stupid.

he was never anything except a reasonably decent heavy metal singer- without Tony or Randy or even Zack, he is nothing
2 years ago
There may have been a little shit involved in there possum, but no piss.

Sabbath > Ozzy solo + Randy > Ozzy + anyone else

That's pretty much how it goes...

ohw - he played an harmonica quite nicely on the 1st sabbath album, forgot about that

I personally have never bought any of his solo work.
Listened to it when it came on the radio but never bought it.

I truly believe Black Sabbath was the base and formed what Ozzy was.
That being said wether you like him before or after solo is baseless due to history and present.
He left them they died period.....he then went on as present shows to become a self proclaimed achiever without them.
They went by the way side he is STILL in the here and now.
His voice WAS the band I stress WAS.
The other members of Black Sabbath were and I stress the word,"WERE",noteworthy.
Ozzy is still in the here and now.....wonder why?,no it's a no brainer he is Ozzy...and Black Sabbath was OZZY and Ozzy alone besides the other small time players who got stepped on to give Ozzy his owed fame.

Got most of it right.
But have to stop trying in depth posts when drinking.

The last couple Sabbath albums really sucked though. The drugs and booze eventually took its toll and the music suffered, like it did with all the godlike rock bands.

1 thru 4 were good - after that it was hit and miss, until they just stopped mattering in general
