I'd disagree. Defense spending is getting the biggest cut, about 8% across the board. And considering we spent 750 billion dollars in 2011, and current totals in 2012 are over 1 trillion... I think those are cuts that we can reasonably make, and the military is definitely not the "neediest" of government programs.
