I met a divorced, white, 46 year old female who makes 22,000 a year. fffffffffffffffffffuuuuuuuccccccckkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkeeeeeeddddddddd 120% of doctors and nurses.
After I retired I took job as warehouse manager and my salary was every bit of $8.75 an hour. The job was eight miles away from home and it provided health insurance and something to do. I gave the tiny salary to my wife. I was able to get vested and now I collect an annuity which I also give to my wife.
I Thinks the rate of higher depression has to deal with social pressure or anxiety. People with a higher income don't really have any reason to be depressed, unless they have a bad marriage or they're seperated.
